The PS8-FSD is the Wollin spray tool for hot-chamber die casting with zinc and magnesium. Compact, modular and equipped with integrated FSD-EcoSpray technology, it delivers precise release agent application even at short cycle times – with significantly reduced consumption of release agent, compressed air and water compared to conventional spray systems.

FSD-EcoSpray Technology – Minimum Quantity Spraying (MQS)
Instead of large volumes of diluted release agent, the FSD nozzle (fine-adjustment spray nozzle) uses minimal concentrate quantities mixed directly with compressed air at the nozzle tip. The result is a precise, continuous spray jet with minimal overspray – and virtually no water consumption.

Versions: Aluminium or PEEK
Standard version for use with the Wollin ESM1 LC. High rigidity and robust construction for continuous production use. Fully integrated into the Wollin system solution. Blow air strip possible.
For machines with limited payload capacity, e.g. Frech Spraymotion. PEEK reduces weight considerably – process dynamics benefit directly. Adaption to third-party-machines possible. Blowing out through nozzles.
System Solution: PS8-FSD + ESM1 LC
The PS8-FSD is designed as part of the Wollin system solution together with the ESM1 LC hot-chamber spray machine. The ESM1 LC positions the spray tool with a repeatability of < ±0.1 mm – the essential prerequisite for FSD nozzles to deliver their full effect.
