The PS8-FSD is the Wollin spray tool for hot-chamber die casting with zinc and magnesium. Compact, modular and equipped with integrated FSD-EcoSpray technology, it delivers precise release agent application even at short cycle times – with significantly reduced consumption of release agent, compressed air and water compared to conventional spray systems.
As part of the Wollin system solution, the PS8-FSD works in close combination with the ESM1 LC hot-chamber spray machine.

FSD-EcoSpray Technology – Minimum Quantity Spraying (MQS)
Instead of large volumes of diluted release agent, the FSD nozzle (fine-adjustment spray nozzle) uses minimal concentrate quantities mixed directly with compressed air at the nozzle tip. The result is a precise, continuous spray jet with minimal overspray – and virtually no water consumption.

Aluminium-Ausführung
Standard version for use with the Wollin ESM1 LC spray machine. High rigidity and robust construction for continuous production use. Fully integrated into the Wollin system solution.
PEEK-Ausführung
For machines with limited payload capacity, e.g. Frech Spraymotion. PEEK as a high-performance polymer reduces weight considerably – process dynamics benefit directly. Includes Frech Spraymotion 1-circuit adapter.
System Solution: PS8-FSD + ESM1 LC
The PS8-FSD is designed as part of the Wollin system solution together with the ESM1 LC hot-chamber spray machine. The ESM1 LC positions the spray tool with a repeatability of < ±0.1 mm – the essential prerequisite for FSD nozzles to deliver their full effect.
